Second, as we discussed in Chapters 2 and 3, a sacked worker will often sue you even when fired for legitimate reasons. The worker bad mouths you, the firm and other personnel. Clearly, you must protect the company from any legal actions. Remember the worker can't refuse a valid offer of employment or the unemployment commission will disqualify him.
